Twigs

Lately we've taken to a petite stroll around 5:00 while we wait for dada to come home. It's nice to get out in the fresh air, search for sticks and twigs, and say hi to the neighborhood cats. Chloe immediately finds 2 sticks/twigs, one for each hand, and holds them for the entire walk. She does that with most toys as well, MUST have something in each hand. 

Here she is going uphill. Little Miss Independent refused my help on the way down, and I quote, "NO! NO! NO! NO!"

oh, and here's Mimi and Boompa's new puppy, Sonny Punch. Chloe is meeting him today, we'll be sure to take snaps!

Oh boy, we've created a Miffy monster. The girl loves this little bunny.

Is it bad that Don and I know every word to the theme song, every character, and get excited when a new one is TiVoed?

Deux Petites Cousins

What is cuter than watching two 1 year olds run around Gymboree class? Not much.

 Chloe was tickled pink to have Ava and Auntie Jessie (my cousin) join us for a fun filled hour of climbing, rattles, balls, and bubbles!

you can definitely tell these babies are related! these petite cousins are 7 weeks apart but people are always asking if they're twins!

LA Girl part deux

We ended our fabulous LA weekend with a stroll through the lovely Huntington Gardens. 

We spent a lot of time exploring the Japanese gardens (meaning I searched for shade while Don took a million snaps)

Today I love my hat, but tomorrow is a whole new day. Tomorrow I will only want to play with and chew on my hat and I will immediately rip that thing off my head. But for now, I am happy as a clam in my new super cute hat from baby Gap.
